I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that I have voluntarily registered to participate in the Livingway Run For a Cause Race Event. I understand that participation in a running event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to serious injury, permanent disability, or death.

I acknowledge and agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk
I am aware that running and participating in this Event involves risks such as falls, collisions with other participants, volunteers, spectators, or vehicles, adverse weather conditions, and the condition of the course. I voluntarily assume all such risks.

I certify that I am physically fit, adequately trained, and in good health to participate in this Event. I have not been advised otherwise by a qualified medical professional.

Release and Waiver
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Livingway, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, affiliates, and any associated parties (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to my participation in the Event.

Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any claims or damages resulting from my participation, including legal fees.

Emergency Medical Treatment
I consent to receive medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of injury, accident, or illness during the Event, and I accept responsibility for any associated costs.

Photography and Media Release
I grant permission to the Event organizers to use photographs, video recordings, or other media of me taken during the Event for promotional, marketing, or other lawful purposes without compensation.

Event Rules Compliance
I agree to follow all Event rules, instructions, and safety guidelines. I understand that failure to comply may result in my disqualification without refund.

Minors (if applicable)
If the participant is under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must sign below and agrees to all terms on behalf of the minor.

I HAVE READ THIS WAIVER CAREFULLY, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY.
